The Poster made for the next American Conservation Film Festival . The goal was draw a Great Horned Owl as the focal point of the design. Collecting informations from this great bird, about its habitat, colors and patterns of the feathers the anatomy. The Owls are oftenly known as nocturnal animals, but they are active in dawn too. The illustration show this side of the bird. Standing on a dead tree, which they are often use for nesting and observing its prey. Used the trees as a border and these gave a nice frame to the whole scene, emphasizing the owl standing in the sunrise.
